8 man zipper

I'm interested in the 8 man tipi, I read in a review that there was a problem with zipping and unzipping the door when zipper was at the bottom of the tent. It was stated you practically had to lay down to reach the zipper, has this been a problem with any one else, though a small problem it is.

It depends a lot on the pitch . If you guy out the zipper it's easy . Some people attach cordage or and arrow if desired . Some don't see it as an issue

Sounds like not enough setback on the pitch.

Get the right setback, and pole height, everything works.

Not enough setback, you get a shorter pole, and flattening around the perimeter, doesn't really matter which size tipi.
