Yeah, you can't swing a spawned-out humpy without hitting a SO owner here now, it seems.

Patrick has the SO 'mid and stove. We (the hunting folks on the trip: me, Patrick, Brooks) all have SO packs. Also rocking SO packs in Kodiak are Lisa, Mike, Adelia, and Jason. In fact, Kodiak might have the highest per capita ownership of SO packs anywhere.

Speaking of spawed-out humpys, here's the "Aleut Village" bathtub ring:

Ok I just got my 12 man Tepee and I am still working on the correct pitch. The first pitch was ok but kinda bell bottomed if you catch my drift but I will get it figured out. My first question is how do you reach the loops at the top for drying gear. I am thinking about using the pole with a couple of hose clamps. The other question I have is I got the screen doors (north central Montana kid here) and the full liner also. Does the liner connect to the screen door or when the liner is installed are the screen doors even usable?

I've found if it's belling out at the bottom that A little more setback, and raise the pole a notch or two, will take that out.

You can run some cordage through the upper loops with plenty of slack, before placing the pole, for hanging stuff.

Excellent ideas on both counts thanks for help and I will be implementing both of them at the breaks tomorrow night at elk camp. Thanks again

Yep splurged and bought the hot tent package with the xl titanium stove and the second liner. Weather has been mild so hopefully it stays that way for a few days.

I used my 12 man this week for my elk hunt. What an enjoyable shelter.
