It ain't over till it's over! The little guy wasn't able to land any, but he did hook two, and fought one for about 5 minutes.

That's a lucky kid Troutbum. Great way to grow up.

Thanks guy's. Ya, I agree Nathan, he is one super lucky kid. The closest I ever got to experiencing this kind of lifestyle, as a kid, was reading Field and Stream and Outdoor Life magazines. We were fishing a little creek on the Kenai Peninsula. It is starting to get a little cold, the high that day was around 25 degrees or so, so not too bad, but that night ( Friday night) got down to 12 and it made for some pretty difficult fishing the next morning.

Just joined here and looking over old posts, im pretty sure I've fished that spot in October 2010.
