Had a picnic with some family and friends and a little ice fishing over the weekend.

Nice , I wanted to do some Ice fishing this year but never found the time. My normal Ice fishing place has no fish this year.

The state mammal is the beaver and the state bird is the Eastern Bluebird. However the most important consideration when ice fishing is your personal safety. Use the proper equipment. Heavy action, 36- to 48-inch ice-fishing rods are best. Select a reel that fits properly with the rod. It should feel balanced in your hand.
