I know this is a long shot but I'd be really interested in a cuben LBO, just not ready to fork out the money for a new one.
Kevin I know I have read you're views on cuben and it sounds like you guys haven't quite got it down to a science like your other fabrics but I'd love to test one out for you here in in the rainy PNW, on the westside of washington state. I'm an active member on several outdoor forums.
Curently I have an LBO with 3 peice vestibule but I bought it used and am curious if it must be an older model because its a decent amount heavier than the posted weight online and the fabric is thicker than the vestibule.

I do not know send me a photo and I can probably give you an idea . I will post my cuben thoughts in a few days. Overall, I think it is great but pricey and less flexible

Hu? I don't undertand this, Kevin you're selling Cuben LBO's if I'm not mistaken. I saw a Cuben LBo with 3 piece vestibule and a Cuben LBO dual base offer on your site. About the flexibility of Cuben I agree it ain't flexible at all. But when you use elastic bands on the tie outs you get some better pitching abillities.
On the picture of the LBO dual base in Cuben I saw a zipper. Do you get two bases in that configuration i.e. two bases wich can be steup opposite eachother creating a closed shelter? What about that zipper, is there a zipper in each base?
I might be interested in this set (large footprint, low weight) perhaps ideal for 2 person and a small stove.

Yes they zip together just like standard LBO bases. I am curious why your LBO is heavy and bulky as I don't think we had much variance in materials . We may have made a few Camo special order ones but that was very limited .
Personally the BT2 is better in cuben and here is why. It has little to do with the shelter and that color matching can be an issue when pieces are mixed from different runs of cuben. This can be very wasteful on our end. We ran into the issue last year a couple time s.
The bt2 is not as roomy though
