Rainwear What works for you ?

Live and work outdoors on the west coast. It amazes me how many 100% waterproof advertised products fail miserably around here. Have tried lots of rain wear.
Outings where not worried about sweating Helly Hansen impertech. All day hikes arcteryx leaf alpha, brutally exspensive, but in remote areas where staying warm and dry could be a life saver, worth every penny. These are my choices for week long downpours where it just doesn't let up and your in rain gear all day. We get the most rainfall in North America around here and unfortunately a lot of manufacturers/internet claims have cost me a quite a few bucks

I haven't really looked at the Arcteryx Leaf line before. Does you well in the constant downpours though? I too know how the wet coast is.

Arcteryx Beta SL and Arcteryx Rush Jacket - Marmot Precip Full Zip Pants and Arcteryx Stinger Pants. . . After being wet and mostly miserable for 40+ years I finally realized you can't go cheap on foul weather gear if you want to stay comfortable.
