I currently have a regular REI Kilo+. I've used it in the teens at 10,000+ feet on Mount Ranier and kept nice and warm.

I use a Mont-Bell 25 degree down bag. It is full zip, so I can use it as a quilt. It gives, so I can move around, but it compresses to my body shape, which reduces the air space to be warmed. It is light & compresses well. If it is colder, I put it inside an Army Gore-Tex Bivy or an MSR Bivy.

I broke down and ordered the flicker in a 20 degree. Seems like a great 3 season combo to me and a fair price for well known brand

The Flicker does look really nice, and the price is surprisingly nice given the name brand. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it!

Agreed pricing is good it's really no more than the better EE stuff , or even Marmot etc

When this comes in can you share your thoughts on it Kevin? I'm really considering one.

Will do. It will be a while though. The zippers are caught in the port mess. I talked to a couple folks there who were very nice and asked if I wanted to change my order. After discussing it, they both said the Flicker was their favorite from testing they did last year, so I decided to wait. Sometimes you just have to wait. I know, I hate telling our customers that at times, but it happens.
