Best Thrift Store or Garage Sale gear find

I've found a couple nice packs , not heavy duty but very serviceable packs at nearby thrift stores. What has been your best find ?

Good question! I bought a large, nylon rain poncho, still in the wrapper, green camo, for 50 cents about 5 years ago at a neighbor's yard sale. I've used it as a poncho, a tarp, a quick shelter, and a ground cloth when field dressing game. Best half dollar I ever spent!

I bought a large tent at Deseret Industries for $5.00 . I wanted the bug screen. The bag it was in was a very good quality duffle
The tent was missing one line for the fly I checked on line the tent originally sold for $450.
It appeared as if the tent had been set up and never used

Msr stove for a quarter. Was never used and came with fuel canisters.

Not gear related, but recently I bought an office desk for $40. The quality was so good that I got curious and tracked down the manufacturer. The thing retails for over 3k!
