For breakfast it's a mix of oatmeal, with nuts and dried fruit. Lunch can be a small diner, or a extra filled soup or noodles, Diner is mostly rice, pasta or couscous based with variations of meats like minced meat, chicken or fish and all kinds of vegetables. Lunches and diners are all self dehydrated meals.

zuma - do you have any actual recipes you'd share, or do you mostly put things together on the fly and then just dehydrate later?

I use freezer bag cooking exclusively for dinners when backpacking. I dehydrate homemade black bean soup, chili, Tasty Bite entrees, rice, pasta, sauce. Much lower in salt content and cheaper.than Mountain House. I dehydrate in the winter when it warms up my house and keep food in small Ziploks in my garage freezer to use as needed.
