Looks awesome. Which did you enjoy more Gates or Chugach ?

Both were good but the Traverse in the Chugatch was my favorite of the two as it was a much more challenging route. This route was more difficult than any of the trips I have done before including Brooks, the Wind River High Route and others.

Bush planes were cheaper too due to the shorter flights.

I started off around 40 pounds with 14 days of food, a bear can, bear spray, and a liter of water. On day 4 we had someone sprain an ankle so I took a little of thier gear so I carried maybe 50 pounds total. The Unaweep handled it like it was nothing. Great pack!
