My wife and I hiked the Fiery Gizzard trail over the weekend. The trail is in Southern Mid TN, near Monteagle. It is about 12-13 miles and varies greatly in terrain and scenery. It is listed as one of the 25 most scenic trails in the US.

We arrived late and hoofed it 2.5 miles in to our campsite, then did the thru portion the next day.
