I did a quick spring solo trip to Big Bend and hiked the Outer Loop. September is for elk. Hunting West Elk Wilderness Area outside Gunnison for the first time this year. I have hunted the San Isabel NF the last 4 years, and needed to try something new. Trying to talk my girlfriend into Thanksgiving in Sheridan, WY. Then I'd like to do a winter snowshoe trip in Yellowstone next spring. That one is going to require some new gear...
