Water bottle pocket question

I really like how you can compress the original Unaweep at the bottom and the water bottle pockets are not also compressed. It appears on the images now that your water bottle pockets are preventing the bottom from being compressed with out compressing the contents in these pockets also.

That means you can not reach back and get out and replace your water bottles if this is the case.

Can you clarify?
