I have to admit that I purchased an Evo out of curiosity and not really thinking it would work for me. I have been pleasantly surprised however! Hopefully Nate will attach the photos as I can't figure it out yet. I've carried one gutted deer, approximately 3/4 of a mile, out with the frame and day talon and it did great. It doesn't carry the weight for you but it is very comfortable under the load. The best feeling is yanking on those load lifters with a 28" frame! The second was a friends kill and we shared the Evo over a mile. He was very impressed. Hopefully there will be more animals and more pics. I plan on boning out the next deer and using the 6300 bag to see how that does. Very good pack.

It has been a great year so far! The first deer is mine. The second is one I spotted and helped a friend into. The last one was the biggest so far and it was a first time hunter. Great first deer! I was helping him with the full experience from how to glass to fresh deer sign. The whole time I'm telling him I'm still new to hunting myself and there is a lot of learning. I didn't want him to get too down on himself because it is not an easy zone to hunt and its his first season.
I spotted a spike and said quietly "buck." He almost ran after him! I was able to calm him down a bit and explained if there is one there may be more. A couple does walk out and I indicate I'm going to peek over the small hill in front of us. As soon as I stepped forward I see this healthy fellow.
Now I'm the excited one and that whole "experienced" hunter front I was putting on went out the window as I'm all but shouting "Shoot! Big Boy! Shoot!" I hear "click." I look at my buddy and he says, "It didn't go off." I'm motioning like a mad man to rack another round. He does as I cover my ears as he's slightly behind me and watch as I hear the crack and the buck goes down.
It was a great day. I got to feel like I actually knew something and my buddy is already scrambling for another tag and asking questions about bow hunting. He learned how to break a deer down and we packed him up in the Evo. He wanted to carry out his own deer but the boots he bought literally crumbled under the weight so a plastic heel insert was digging into the back of his heels. Yay me! All in all the Evo did great again.

California d14! Deer capital of the U.S............. two tag limit. I've just had the awesome pleasure of helping pack out a few of my buddies kills.
