Preventing shoulder harness creep

Hi All,
I have revo (originally evo2revo) and I noticed there is some creep in the shoulder harness. Specifically, when the pack is heavy and if I lift it by one of the straps (I always put the right arm in first), after a while there is a tendency for that side to creep up compared to the other. This is *not* a big deal and can be sorted without even loosening the harness, but I'd like to know if anybody else noticed the same and figured out how to stop it.

Are you talking about torso length changing? If so, I think you may be experiencing some stretch in the material under heavy loads instead of the webbing loosening, because we cannot make the torso webbing loosen under any amount of pressure. Those buckles would probably break before they loosen due to the straight angle of the web, plus the turnback through the triglide.
I do find however, that some creep or stretch occurs with really heavy loads, but I think it's more slack being taken out of the system, or the harness settling. Once all the slack is taken out I don't notice any movement other than what I introduce through adjusting.

The ladder lock buckles sets and does not move. What I get is the metal tri-glide (the one where the webbing passes through twice) sliding up or down a bit -- I can definitively move it with my hand without loosening the webbing.

Hi Fedster
Take the end of the webbing from the load lifter and run it back through the metal tri glide one more time and that should stop it.
I use this as sort of a 0 point so I don't get load lifter creep. I pull it through so it is tight where I want when I shoulder the pack. Then I adjust the load lifter. When I take the pack off I release it back to the same setting.
This also has the side benefit of minimizing webbing slap in high winds ..

Hi Kevin, that's what I have been doing with the load lifters since I have the revo, but that's not triglide that's slipping, it's the triglide behind (or on?) my shoulder where the shoulder height adjustment webbing goes through.

Is it going through both sides and then well tensioned ? It really should not slip like that . I have had it doubled back on itself and not connected to the top adjustment with out slipping . One of our employees used to usually use his pack that way . A photo could help a bunch ... we would be glad to troubleshoot it just send an email to info
