Are there any more details or pictures you can share about the new Gila pack?

It looks like it has a full-length mesh stuff pocket like the mod I did to my Unaweep. This might be the packbag I was after when I did my mods. Nice.

Philip.AK - I am hoping this pack is a little smaller (and lighter) than your altered Unaweep. I hope it is a competitor for the HMG 3400 series packs.

Similar to Divide in layout, but with a deeper mesh pocket. Smaller at 3500ish with shroud extended. With shroud rolled down to frame height not sure of ci, pretty small and fitting for a day pack.
I used one this past week day hunting from 11800 to 12200 to 10ish and back to 12200 on a 55 degree slope. In short, I LOVE this pack. Very very simple organization. Where's X? In the mesh pocket. Where's Y? In the packbag.
Not sure of timeline yet.

Same fabrics as the Divide? X21 or X42?

Well I am anxiously awaiting more information. This sounds like it could be the perfect pack for a week long backpacking trip where my 4800 Unaweep is just a little big and heavy (It is THE pack for heavy loads or 10+ days).

How will this work with a 26" frame? I assume that like the Divide, it is optimized for the 34" frame.

Any idea on a release date? I am interested in adding a smaller packbag to my Unaweep frame.
