Which new belt?

Hi All,

I want to get a new belt and I need to decide whether to go for Large or Extra Large (I am on a medium now, but I am 'growing out of it'. Middle age sucks). So two questions:

1) the new dual pull belt is meant to have a higher adjustment range -- in which direction? if I get an XL (say for winter), will I be able to chink it down to a L? or can I expand a L to an XL fit for winter use? I am actively working on keeping my size stable, but I make no promises.

2) while I like the idea of more adjustment, I know I will just swap the dual buckles for the quad buckle, though I am open to test new options. What comes with the belt, 2 single + 1 quad buckle? how does the quad buckle affect adjustment range, if at all, compared to 2 buckles?

Hi Fedster
1. It adjusts down more so a large can get into some of the range a medium used to
2. Yes it comes with one inch and a quad buckle . My advice is give the dual a few days before swapping to quad . It is pretty easy , just different

Cheers Kevin> Two more questions: is the standard default color still black? second, my waist currently hovers around 35/36 inches. In winter I assume it would increase due to bulkier clothing. In long trips it might decrease -- or stay the same (let's face it, my issue is more keeping put weight wise rather than losing it too fast). I am still tempted to go XL especially if the dual buckle belt can be ranged down a bit, but any advice would be good.

I would just add a comment for color you prefer to make sure . I go from 34 -36 and a large works well. XL probably would work well as well except on the 34 side
