Divide 4500

I picked up a brand new used Divide 4500, used it for the first time today on a work out hike, had 25lbs of sand in it, it fits nice and snug with no wiggle, was really comfortable all the way around.

Im thinking about using it as my primary pack on my Montana Elk hunt. I guess the only thing Im concerned with is, packing elk quarters out with it. Anyone pack an elk hind quarter out on one? Im sure Id have to debone it to fit in the pack.

We have packed boned out elk meat several times in a divide. Works well as long as it is adjusted and has enough frame height . I think it has been a part of 3 elk pack outs

Thanks Ktimm, Any idea on the amount of weight you had in the pack?

60 or so. Weight doesn't matter much. It is the same frame and suspension ... so if it is sized right it will carry as well as the rest .
