When will the new belt with the dual buckles be available to purchase for people looking to upgrade their older packs?

Just order a belt and put in comments to make sure it is dual buckle.

I think most are dual buckle currently , but certain sizes may still be single

I ordered a size large beginning of last week to replace my medium belt, and received it today. I didn't expect it to be dual buckle, but it was - thanks a lot, SO! Will test the new belt on a longer trip next month, but on first inspection, it appears that more than just the buckle changed. It's also thinner and may even be lighter than my current medium belt. Also, due to the thinner design, the mesh doesn't bunch up as it used to, although this never bothered me.

Being able to adjust tension in the upper and lower part of the belt separately really improves fit very noticeably. As a result, I don't need to tighten it as much to get a good load transfer to the hips. I also got what must be the quad buckle, a single buckle which allows individual adjustment of lower and upper tension. Don't know yet which approach I like better. Two buckles are certainly a more redundant and probably lighter solution, but I also like the simplicity of the quad buckle. Great that SO sent me both!

So, all in all, I really like the changes and it is definitely worth the upgrade.

Glad you like it. I like it. Yes it is lighter and very small amount thinner with a slightly thicker mesh. The result is , it cups and grips better with less tension
