I have a late 2014 unaweep. Are the new pack bags with the cross bar compatible with the older unaweep if I wanted to get a bigger packback. Would I need to get the cross bar?

Yes they work with some limits . A unaweep fortress or exposure will drop in. A Revo or divide will likely need an updated harness which is better / nicer as well . Cross stay works on all

I am in the same boat with a late 2014 Unaweep and I may want the 6300 bag.

Can you please be more specific when you say that there are limits? Are the limits even if you want to go with a larger Unaweep (now called Fortress) pack bag or are the only limits that you meant were if you wanted to go with a revo?

Is there a link to buy just the harness or do we have to call to buy a harness?

Mostly longer webbing however we recently got rid of the binding phone side ( 3 months ) which some may find positive

You can change harness and belt , meaning harness is what I was alluding to
