Adding a grommet to the bottle holders of a fortress bag

Hi,

I have a fortress bag and when I ordered I did not mention that maybe it would have been a good idea to have a grommet in the bottle holder external pockets in case rain or snow collected in there (I can tighten the elastic but it is not enough). So questions:

1) is there a way of stopping rain/snow from getting into the pockets (I doubt but it's worth asking)?
2) assuming (1) above is impossible, how do I add a grommet at the bottom of each pocket to provide a water egress point *without f**** them up*?

Cheers

F

The bottoms have a drain hole in the corner. I can have Luke answer the rest

I think Kevin should have answered your question but there is already a drain hole so I don't think adding a grommet is necessary. I have had both rain and snow in mine and they drain fine.

My bad, I just did not notice the drain hole -- that will work no problems. The idea came into my head because I had to do some walking in a severe snow today and that made me think about how to drain the pockets. In practice the pockets did not collect much snow at all, but I am one of those annoying retentive guys... obviously not retentive enough to notice the drain hole!
