Going on record to plead to keep UnaWeep system unchanged. A

Back to my standard in carry comfort.
The original Unaweep system that is the only pack that has truly transfered the weight from my back to my legs and not aggravated my bursitis other belt and frame systems has done.

The frame spreader bar up top is a key feature and needs to stay.
The standard harness attachment point on the bag is perfect. Lower location that is in the Divide doesn't work as well and allows upper pack to pitch backwards and aggravates my lower region.
The 26" fame height is perfect for the load lifters to minimize front of shoulder pressure that happens when lowering to 24".
The standard 3D mesh on the belt is a key feature for belt slippage and is noticed on the other belt for me.

When removing all of these features I noticed more negative performance to justify a few oz in weight cost.

Please keep the standard Unaweep with these features!

It is why I have sold other packs and have another on the selling block soon.

This pack hits a perfect combination of comfort in its complete system and reaches diminishing returns if changed.

I love my Unaweep!

The Unaweep is awesome however some folks would argue on all the features.

Some people have removed the spreader bar on their own to free up head movement .

The higher encasement on unaweep is better than divide for taller people but for shorter torsos people it is a no go. The divide works well with the shorter and the slack is mostly attention to making sure harness has no slack. It just takes a bit more attention there
In the future we may offer an add on pad for longer torsos for the divide

Some people request a belt with no mesh . Personally I have minimal slippage with either and both work. The mesh is better for heat / sweat but boy I don't like that mesh in a snow bank for sure .

I'm glad you love the pack. I love the pack and as of now we sell the same Unaweep with a slightly different harness (same cut etc just a few things done to enhance durability and fit ) .

Most people love the Unaweep , but some do request the changes that are a part of the divide

Glad to hear it's still an option and the changes won't be erased for those that need them :)

Talk about beat and the belt! We're at like 90% humidity and 92 degrees when I started out for my 5 miler.

Whew!

Don't get me wrong at all.

The point of the post was to document why I keep tossing other packs for the original Unaweep set up :)

Just so my little voice can be heard in the long run.
You have a unique combination that works.
