Received my new Evolution+4800 a couple of weeks ago and I'm finally getting a chance to get the fit right and such. Thus far I'm very impressed with the build quality. This pack is just about exactly what I've been looking for.

Unfortunately I'm having one heck of a time with fit. The primary issues seems to be the harness. No matter what adjustment I make the harness always seems to be WAY to small or it seems to hang a few inches away from my back. I'm 5'9" with an 18" torso. Pulling down the load lifters helps of course, but cranking those all the way down doesn't seem right and it still doesn't feel right (the harness will still hang back).

I've been through most of the posts here and the videos talking about fit and still haven't quite found the right adjustment to make. Any thoughts or recommendations from the community?

Can you send a photo via email with a side profile / pack on ? Likely there is to much slack somewhere

Feeding the strap through and making sure adjustment strap is tight without slack should fix it. You can also lock the torso length in if desired. I will shoot a video soon on it
