Regarding the new lid.....
I notice there are straps attaching the lid to the middle compression strap, as opposed to sacrifycing one of the side compression straps as I did with the larger lid. How are the extra straps with the new lid attached to the side compression straps? Will these straps come with the new smaller lid? Thanks

An extra buckle added to the compression strap , so two buckles on the same strap attach first to talon and second to lid and tension

OK. Would the strap on the center compression strap on my Unaweep I bought early last year be long enough to add the second bucke and use its for the lid if the main pack is full (eg, with a bear canister, etc)? I'd check myself but my back is buried under tons of stuff as we clean out the garage.

My pack is buried, I should say.......

It should be the 4800 in the video is very close to full

I like the smaller multi-lid. My pack is gray vx-21. Would the lid have to come in a coyote color if I want lightweight fabric or can I get a (close to) matching color?

Put Gray VX21 in comments, we still have some around and can do a lid in gray
