Hunting Specific - Meat Carry Options

This post is a little overview of various meat carry options, along with my personal preferences.
As I see it there really are 4 type in which a pack is used (leaving out over the shoulder, santa klaus, drag type of stuff).
A quick overview is
- Strapped to the frame
- Compressed between a suspension and backpacking gear (load shelf ala stone glacier / our talon etc)
- In a pack bag
- Bat wing
To summarize my thoughts, I prefer most of the time in the bag mainly because of how I pack. It is the most weight efficient for me. Bat wing , certainly has its benefits, but IMO is not weight efficient and has a high fiddle factor the rest of the time, but they work well as a do all. Load Shelf / Cargo Expansion / Talon concept all work but do add a bit of extra weight. Each option, does certain things well at least IMO.
Have you found yourself gravitating to one option over the other ? Why ?
