Starting to ship today. I expect most orders will ship in next 7 to 10 days.

Weight of a 3900 VX21 sans base talon 2 lbs 11 to 2 lbs 12, 3 lbs 2 with base talon.

I suspect X33 will be very close and a complete VX07 will be 3 to 4 less.

Then I'm guessing a 4800 unaweep with hydration talon will be around 3 pounds 4 or 5 oz.

That would be an accurate guess. I had a 4800 X33 at 3 lb 4 on the scale. X33 and vx21 are very close, hydration base talon adds an ounce

Does the unaweep basically make the load shelf an integrated part of the pack bag rather than a separate piece that is permanently park of the frame?

ok, I think I see. If I am correct, the frame encasements and load shelf are part of the packbag rather than separate components? But you still can add the frame extensions to make the torso longer?

Yes pretty much correct within reason. The max recommended height is 28 , if you wanted to go higher i think you could easily

I can't wait to get my Unaweep. It is on order and I'm looking forward to compare it with my Evo.
