We've been developing a rifle carry solution for the last several months. The Gunhook is the result.



The Gunhook is a 0.4 oz carbon fiber frame extension that allows you to carry a slung rifle securely over the top of the backpack frame. This system has several advantages:

- Fast access
- Rifle can be accessed and replaced while wearing the pack
- Secure
- Comfortable
- Detachable from frame - use it when you need it

Darn, just ordered my pack yesterday.
Is this something I can add to my order and if so, how much is it?
I currently use a Kifaru Gunbearer but would give this a try depending on cost.

It's very simple but works incredibly well. I've been testing it most recently predator hunting by taking two rifles - 22-250 for long range work and a 22 mag in case a bobcat or fox pops out. I can put a Gunhook on each side of the frame to carry a rifle on each side. It works surprisingly well, even navigating steep thick hill climbs and many fence crossings.

It looks similar to what I've done with external frame packs. If so it works well.
