Snubbie,
Regarding the daisy chains and features found on most packs...
We designed our pack to be very, very versatile while trying to eliminate unnecessary features that add weight and cost. So, I personally would rather NOT have daisy chains on our pack and that's why we eliminated them. In testing of the old style pack bags most water penetration came through the stitch holes, especially in the daisy chain area. Eliminating that saves weight and makes it more waterproof.
IMO the daisy chains aren't very usable anyway. They are buried under the compression system, and the compression/Talon is much much faster and easier to manipulate than tying stuff on with paracord.
Here's how I'd carry a spotter and tripod, rifle, or camp chair.
I could also carry it underneath, over top, on the other side, or on the front of the pack under the Talon. Simply unclick 2-3 buckles, put it where you want it, click back and you're done. That is a lot quicker and easier than messing with paracord knots.
