Excessive Shipping Cost?

I'm ordering a Divide 4500 back pack ($350) and the shipping cost is $20+. This seems reasonable. I add the 2" extensions (maybe 2 oz) and the shipping cost goes up $5 for an $8 item. What gives? I'm sure UPS/FedEx doesn't charge any more since the box is the same size and the weight is essentially the same.

We can check on it but I agree . You can also call our shop and we can put the order in and double check

Thanks, Kevin. I added 2 sets of extensions to the order and it cranked up the shipping cost estimate $10. The shopping cart software is treating every item on an order as if it were a separate order when it comes to shipping costs. I'll call the shop.
