Recommended hipbelt pockets

Postby mankind117 » Tue Oct 07, 2014 6:00 am

Does anyone have a particular brand of hip belt pockets that they have found work well with the evo/unaweep belts?

We've prototyped several variations and will have some coming out.

Its easy to make hipbelt pockets. Its hard to make them light, functionally sized, and easy to use.

I use the Maxpedition 5x7x2 Horizontal GP Pouch - Low Profile. One on each side of the waist belt. I replaced the noisy metal zipper pull, but otherwise they fit well and hold what I need (GPS and camera in one, headlamp, calls, windicator, flagging tape, granola bar in the other). You have to buy the tac ties to attach to the PALS on the waist belt. Come in a variety of colors. I chose foliage.

Do you need the 3 or 5 inch tacties?

I believe they are just the 3 inch tacties.
